A New Dawn for Women's Weight Management
When a woman struggles with extra weight, it often feels like a never-ending uphill climb.
She’s spent countless hours and thousands of dollars trying every fad diet, cutting out food groups, counting calories, and possibly even trialing some of those hair-raising diet pills–none of which have worked or been sustainable.
That is, until semaglutide came along.
This highly effective treatment has taken the world by storm, finally giving women hope again. Sustainable weight loss is possible.
What is Semaglutide?
Semaglutide, branded as Ozempic® and Wegovy®, helps your body produce more insulin when needed, slows down how quickly you feel hungry again after eating, and makes you feel fuller for longer.
This helps keep your blood sugar levels steady, makes you feel less hungry throughout the day, and can lead to sustained weight loss.
Several clinical trials and peer-reviewed studies agree that semaglutide’s efficacy for weight loss is indisputable. One study even showed that people lost 20% of their body weight over 16 months.
We've Taken it a Step Further

What Our Patients Say

"I was skeptical at first that anything would help after 10 years of GI issues. But, after a few months of treatments with Dr. Delgado, I'm seeing huge improvements! I'm starting to get a normal life back."
CPPC and Dr. Delgado
We pride ourselves on offering the most comprehensive, integrative, and modernized care available, specializing in the entire interconnected spectrum of women’s wellness, from chronic pelvic pain to weight loss, all things gynecology, and even managing the complexities of trauma-related pain.

Many of our patients have been to multiple physicians over the years. Nothing worked until they found us.
Dr. Melissa Delgado started the CPPC to be a destination for comprehensive women’s healthcare—a space for transformation, growth, and healing. She's dedicated more than a decade of her time, energy, and passion to understanding the nuances of complex and persistent pelvic pain, specializing in treating endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, and related co-occurring chronic conditions.
She is also an expert in minimally invasive, excisional robot-assisted surgery. Plus, after seeing the benefits of integrative medicine, Dr. Delgado also became certified to practice acupuncture in 2007.
Dr. Delgado earned her medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and New York Medical College before completing her OB/GYN residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Virginia, where she served as Chief Resident. She is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
